It’s okay to let someone else make the meal. Just be sure to take all the credit.
Yield: 2 to 4 servings
Buy frozen lasagna, but be sure to check the ingredients, making certain that the carbohydrates do not exceed the protein intake by more than half. I’ve found some brands that are very tasty, but they cook up very watery. After baking, I drain the liquid and carefully transfer lasagna to my own casserole dish for a homemade touch.
Add the following ingredients to bump up the flavor: Cook extra-lean ground beef with garlic and diced sweet white onions. Simmer until meat is brown. Add stewed tomatoes, basil, and fresh or canned mushrooms. Continue cooking over medium-low heat until meat is well cooked. Pour this mixture over the cooked lasagna. Deliciouso!
