AVOCADO SALAD



This little fruit of joy is just what is needed to maintain a healthy immune system. Avocados are good bodybuilding boosters, loaded with vitamin K, folic acid, B6, C and potassium Help yourself. They easily hide when mixed.


Life is tough enough, so keep it simply delicious. Savor the flavors.


Ingredients:


2 large avocados, peeled and diced into 3/4 pieces, lightly salt


1 (10-ounce) can pineapple tidbits, drained well


1 large tomato, sliced thin


1 small cucumber, sliced thin


1 small green pepper, thinly sliced


1/3 pound very thinly cut cooked extra lean ham or chicken strips


1 tablespoon mayonnaise


1/3 teaspoon salt


1/2 teaspoon sugar


Butter lettuce is perfect for this salad.


In medium bowl, add all the above ingredients and top with your favorite dressing.
