This short -cut cook recipe compliments more then the Turkey. Hurrah, to the Cook! Apples really add tartness to the sweet potatoes. Yes, this is a sweet- tooth dish.. Yum!

14 oz. can sweet potatoes/yams

3 crispy apples, cored, sliced and peeled

3/4.cup brown sugar

1/4 cup butter

1/4 cup. white sugar

In medium, nonstick, microwavealbe casserole dish, add half of the potatoes and apples.

Using a small microwaveable bowl, mix sugars, butter to softened and cook for 15 seconds.

Drizzle half the mixture over the casserole.

Repeat by laying the remaining apples and potatoes.

Top with sauce.

This dish can be microwaved for 6 minutes or until apples are tender. OR bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Again, carefully check to test the apples making certain there cooked through.
