Cook your favorite pasta. Sauce is the big deal.
2 cups fat free pasta sauce (jar or canned) Saute 1 medium, diced sweet onion, add 1/2 pd extra lean stew meat, lightly salt, 1 clove minced garlic, 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning, 1 tablespoon Kitchen Bouquet. (opt) Cook on medium heat until sauce comes to a rolling boil.
Serve with veggie, and toasted bread. I made stuffed zucchini. Preheat oven 425 degrees.
- 4 zukes, washed, cut down the middle, than halved. Place on a microwable dish, and cook for about 5 minutes. Careful hot. Let cool, remove fillling and add to medium sized bowl.
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese (your favorite)
- 1/4 cup Italian bread crumbs
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Mix all above ingredients well. Add 1 to 2 tablespoons of filling to each zucchini. Place on baking sheet and place in oven. Cook for about 7 minutes, until tops are brown.
Then kiss the cook! and clean up...
